SCHOOL BACKGROUND
Juan graduated from California State University East Bay in the Fall of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) and a Minor in Photography. He also finished his Master of Science in Digital Audience Strategy at Arizona State University in the Fall of 2022.
In his time at East Bay, he took it upon himself to get as involved as possible. He did so by becoming a member of the following organizations:

He also had the opportunity to study abroad in both France and Puerto Rico. He spent a semester at the École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers in Angers, France, and attended the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, San German for a month before having his experience cut short due to Hurricane Maria.
From these experiences, he had this to say:

“I was able to witness firsthand what the people of the Caribbean endure when such an epidemic occurs. It’s not a pretty scenery I’ll tell you that. Living under the circumstances of no running water, low food supply, and no electricity is never fun, but you realize things. You realize that there is more to life than just looking at a screen for countless hours and being on social media. There are bigger problems in this world than being worried about your phone not being charged or not making it to the dinner plans on time with friends.

Nonetheless, thanks to both of these experiences it has allowed me to better understand people of diverse backgrounds along with the development of my collaborative and networking skills. I'm a very friendly and social person, and I really enjoy connecting with others and creating long-lasting relationships. This is what led me to pursue a career in Marketing.”
